KIC-IT began in 2011 as the need for homeless youth services was identified in Johnson County. KIC-IT provides individualized programs & support for youth, ages 16-25, in breaking the cycle of homelessness by helping them achieve sustainable life change. As an organization, we value collaborative partnerships to serve the unstably housed or homeless youth in our community.
We believe that life change happens upon the foundation of healthy relationships. Building relationships, establishing boundaries, & setting goals helps our youth redefine their life path. By connecting them to services, skill development, & improved relationships our youth will experience growth - socially, emotionally, and mentally.
Each of the KIC-IT programs and initiatives are based upon these core beliefs with a steadfast goal to support and encourage youth along the way to sustainable life change
